Victoria Trip in Spring

On the weekend of April 21st Winfield College held it's 2nd Annual trip to Victoria just in time to watch the flowers bloom. Turnout was a huge success with 37! students attending the 3 day 2 night trip to one of Canada's finest cities. The weather was fantastic and the student's enthusiasm matched.

Some of the Highlights of the trip were the world's famous Butchart gardens, just in time to catch the blossoming of thousands of varieties of plants. Student's enjoyed spending their own leiusre time visiting attractions such as the Wax Museum, Miniature World, a Russian submarine bought from the Russian Navy and towed all the way to Victoria Harbour the Parliament buildings, the Natural History Museum and many other local attractions. Like all trips however it was people taking part that made is so fun and so special. Many new friendships were made and many new memories were forged.

Take a look of some of the pictures, we are sure that you are join to enjoy them!!!

The results of all that fine preparation. The food was fabulous and the group was the envy of all the other quests who stuck with their Mr. Noodles and Kraft Dinner

Here's James during his first encounter with the wild Giant Blue Macaw at Crystal Gardens on a previouos school trip to Victoria

Here's James revisiting Crystal Gardens with Vicky, Kozue and Sunny for protection. We weren't sure but that bird has a crazy look in its eyes.

Just of few more shots of the absolute beautiful ferry ride we had on the way to Victoria.

Who says you have to travel all the way the interior of British Columbia in order to catch a glimpse of the elusive black bear. In this photo a group of students encounter one of nature's most magnificant creatures right in the heart of downtown Victoria.
