Refund Policies
Student Registration Refund Policy
All withdrawals/dismissals must be in writing. If a student is denied authorization from Immigration Canada or does not receive it before classes begin, all fees except the lesser of CDN$200 or 25% of total fees will be refunded, if notified before classes begin. For withdrawals within 7 days of this contract, all fees except the lesser of 25% or CDN$400 will be refunded. For withdrawals 30 days or more before classes begin, all fees will be refunded except 25%; less than 30 days before classes, all fees except 40%. For withdrawals/dismissals within 10% of the program, all fees will be refunded except 50%; within 30% of the program, all fees will be refunded except 70%. No refund is provided after 30% of the program. Tuition for continuing months must be paid monthly, due one week before month end. PPSEC Directives, Winfield school rules and dispute, admission and dismissal policies are posted in the college.
Homestay Policies
The first month of homestay fees are due before arriving in Canada. Additional months can be paid directly to the school after your arrival in Canada. There can be no partial refunds. Homestay fees are paid for four weeks and it is not possible to get a refund for one week or a few days. Homestay period is for four weeks. Students wishing to leave must give 14 days notice before the end of your four week stay. Even if you give notice after living there for only a few days, you must wait until the end of your four week period. Refunds for continuing homestay months will be given on a monthly basis and there is a CDN$60 administrative fee charged per month for processing the refund.
