The Business ESL Internship Program combines studies in our International
Business ESL Program with a work internship. The practicum will give you the
opportunity to put your knowledge and skills to use in a Canadian company.
Placement Counseling
Our Business ESL Program instructors will work with
you to find a placement that is suitable for you, and will be available to
provide you with counseling during your internship.
Before beginning your internship you will attend electives that will cover
topics such as resume writing and interview skills.
Placements
Every effort will be made to place you with a company according to your area
of interest, your previous work and study experience. In some cases, candidates
may have to be flexible and accept positions outside their field of expertise.
Professional dress may be required for some placements.
Requirements
You must complete at least two months of a Business ESL
Program before beginning an internship. The length of the internship
cannot be longer than your study time.You must have a lower-advanced level of English.
